Project Engineer -Engineering Dept.
We are in need of an experienced, career-minded Project Engineer to be a part of our team. The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Summarily, this position will work with the engineering team to establish project requirements, direct and review the designers detailed drawing packages; will analyze and design steel tank structures with shallow and deep foundations; and will develop drawings packages to communicate design information. Additionally, this position will assist with support of the Sales department.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
• Registered Professional Engineer (or ability to obtain within one (1) year) required;
• B.S. degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with Structural emphasis required;
• Three (3) years’ experience in tank and/or foundation design is preferred;
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, steel and concrete design;
• Familiarity with AISC ASD/LRFD, ACI-318; and,
• Knowledge of AWWA D100, API 650.

Hourly Plant Production

Mechanic – 1st or 2nd Class – 2nd shift
Summary: Assembles and joins, through welding, all types of tank parts and components.
First Class Mechanic
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Read and understand blueprints and sketches.
• Perform 100% penetration x-ray quality welds.
• Layout work required for the fabrication of tank parts and components.
• Material handling using overhead cranes, or forklift.
• Burning of parts and components.
• Fit-up and welding tasks of all tank parts and components.
• General housekeeping.
Second Class Mechanic
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Read and understand blueprints and sketches.
• Material handling using overhead cranes, or forklift.
• General housekeeping

Fabricator – 2nd Shift
Summary: Fabricates tank parts and components using various equipment, paints components, material handling, and general housekeeping.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Read and understand blueprints and sketches.
• Layout work required for the fabrication of tank parts and components.
• Material handling using overhead cranes, truck or forklift.
• Operate machinery to fabricate tank parts and components.
• General housekeeping.

Garage Mechanic
Summary: Performs the maintenance, service, repair of diesel/gas-powered trucks and equipment, either in the shop or in the field, by performing all duties of a skilled mechanic.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Inspects, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure that they are in proper operating condition. Use hand tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, or precision instruments, as well as power tools, such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, welding equipment, or jacks and hoists.
• Adjust and reline brakes, align wheels, tighten bolts and screws, and reassemble equipment.
• Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Test drive trucks and heavy equipment to diagnose malfunctions or to ensure that they are working properly.
• Raise trucks, heavy equipment, and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
• Attach test instruments to equipment, and read dials and gauges to diagnose malfunctions.
• Rebuild gas or diesel engines.
• Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications.
• Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using test instruments such as handheld computers, motor analyzers, chassis charts, or pressure gauges.
• Recondition and replace parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves.
• Rewire ignition systems, lights, and instrument panels.
• Specialize in repairing and maintaining parts of the engine, such as fuel injection systems.
• Align front ends and suspension systems.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain automotive and mechanical equipment and machinery, such as pumps and compressors.
• Install or repair accessories.
• Disassemble and overhaul internal combustion engines, pumps, generators, transmissions, clutches, and differential units.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle heating and cooling systems.
• Repair or adjust seats, doors, or windows.
• Follow green operational practices involving conservation of water or energy or reduction of solid waste.
• Adjust or repair computer controlled exhaust emissions devices.
• Measure vehicle emissions to determine whether they are within acceptable limits.
• Maintain or repair vehicles with alternative fuel systems, including biodiesel, hybrid, or compressed natural gas vehicles.
• Operate valve-grinding machines to grind and reset valves.
